Dr. Akruti Desai is a discerning ophthalmologist and ophthalmic plastic surgeon, with a focus on Eye Cancer, Orbital Disorders, Lacrimal Services, and Periocular Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery.
She brings over a decade of experience in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, including three years as faculty in the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery service at LV Prasad Eye Institute, following two years of experience at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. She has also pursued continued academic learning, including an observership at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, Los Angeles, in 2023.
She completed advanced fellowship training in Orbit, Oculoplasty, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Services at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, in 2015.
